Delivery Information & Returns Policy
The following Delivery Charges will be added to your Order at "Checkout"
Note: Deliveries to "Highlands and Islands” postcodes and non UK addresses may take longer.
We will deliver the goods to the address you specify for delivery in your order. It is important that this address is accurate. Please be precise about where you would like the goods left if you are out when we deliver. We cannot accept any liability for any loss or damage to the goods once they have been delivered in accordance with your delivery instructions (unless this is caused by our negligence). We will aim to deliver the goods by the date quoted for delivery but delivery times are not guaranteed and therefore time is not of the essence. In any event, we will aim to deliver your goods within 30 days from the day after the day we received your order. If delivery is delayed beyond this time, we will contact you and either agree a mutually acceptable alternative date, or offer you a full refund.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you. Once goods have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.
None of the following terms affect your Statutory Rights. You must obtain authorization prior to returning any item.
If you wish to return any items under the Distance Selling Regulations you must notify us of your decision within 14 days after the day of receipt of the item/items. If you wish to return goods that were correctly delivered and that are not faulty or damaged, you must return them at your expense.
We may make a deduction from your refund for any loss in the value of the goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you (for example using the goods prior to cancellation).
Please note that we will only accept items back for Credit if they are unused and "as new" . This includes any "retail" boxes and packaging.
Requests for the return of any item after 14 days will be considered but may be liable to a re stocking charge. To get authorization to return a product to us, please follow the instructions below:
- Return to www.sharp-parts.co.uk
- Click on "My Account” at the top of the page
- Click on "Review Previous Orders” in the "Orders” section.
- If prompted, log in with your username and password.
- Click the "Return” icon for the applicable order
- Specify how you would like us to deal with this request (Refund, Exchange, Other) and then enter details of why you want to return the product/s to use in the "Comments/Special Instructions” section.
- Press continue.
If your order is received damaged in any way you must inform us within 7 days of receipt of the damaged item and obtain authorization under the terms described above.
Faulty Goods under Guarantee
Goods which prove to be faulty within 12 months of the date of purchase will normally be replaced, repaired or credited. Each case will be determined individually upon its merits in discussion with a member of our Customer Service Team. Prior authorization must be arranged before goods are returned as described above. Upon receipt of the faulty item it will be inspected and tested by us and once accepted as faulty, by us, the appropriate action will be taken.
Please note the Guarantee does not cover faults caused by neglect, misuse, accident or normal "wear and tear".
Spare parts which, to be fitted, require the equipment to be disassembled in any way are only covered for three months and then only if fitted by a qualified engineer.
Items of a "brittle" nature such as Microwave Oven Turntable Plates and Waveguide Covers carry no Guarantee.
Remote Control Handsets and Consumable items such as Imaging Films, Toner Cartridges, Ink Cartridges and Ribbons are guaranteed for 2 months.
